Hillberg & Berk

How do you tell a brand story in a way that will stun and captivate audiences the same way your product does?

what does Hillberg & Berk do?

Canadian jewelry designer Hillberg & Berk earned international attention when it launched its Sparkle collection to first support Canada’s women Olympians and then to raise funds for breast cancer. In Canada and beyond, the beautiful creations by Hillberg & Berk were suddenly in high demand.

What challenge did they have?

CEO, Rachel Mielke was invited to tell her story at a prestigious investor conference, and this was no easy task. She had a lot to say about starting the company, Sparkle, and her unique creations. Rachel is a great storyteller, and her speaking engagements were popular, but bullet-riddled PowerPoint was getting in the way of her own sparkle.

How did we solve it?

Rachel chose Perfect Pitch’s Presentation Consulting and Design service to craft a moving story and a presentation unlike anything she had produced before.

Rachel traveled to Vancouver, Prezi in hand, nervous and excited about the presentation. The effect was mesmerizing. Rachel’s presentation became a journey, not only through the history of building the Hillberg & Berk business and brand, but also through the luxurious beauty of the store and the jewelry designs.

The immersive experience set Rachel apart and left the audience with an experience that was hard to forget.

The Prezi

A trip to Hillberg & Berk headquarters gave us the visual inspiration to create the presentation you see below. It is a cinematic glimpse into the beautiful surroundings of a Hillberg & Berk store. Scroll through the screenshots below to see how storytelling elements like the pieces of jewelry were tucked into the store shelves. With the ability to Zoom, Rachel used each of these elements to complement her story.

Screenshots

Each of these screenshots depict elements that were hidden on the store shelves in the main Prezi presentation view. As she needed them, Rachel would click and Prezi would take her there. With very few words on the screen, Rachel could tell her story naturally, freeing her to respond to her audience or time limitations and adjust her presentation accordingly.
